Amy and Matt Roloff 'Little People, Big World' separate after 26 years

Amy and Matt Roloff, from the hit TV reality series, “Little People, Big World” have decided to go their separate ways, according to ABC News, March 12, 2014.

Amy and Matt’s may live on the same property, but they will not be sharing the same house. After 26 years of marriage, the couple have 4 children together, twins Jeremy and Zack, 23, Molly, 20, and Jacob, 17. Divorce is not on the table at this time. Right now, they want to try living separately and perhaps life will be better.

The couple stated, "Though we have weathered many storms together, we recently made the tough decision to engage in a trial separation. Matt remains living on the farm in our guesthouse and we work together everyday on the farm, on our business endeavors and most importantly, raising our amazing children."

Amy said that she isn’t happy with the way things are between them. "We don't have a plan in how we are going to work this out so it's not going to be easy."

Amy told E!, "We thank our fans for all their support. Matt and I are working together to make sure this transition in our life together goes smoothly for the sake of our children. There is still much love in our home and we appreciate the cooperation of the media in giving us time to mend and heal."

Matt explained that they stayed in the marriage when maybe they should have ended the relationship years ago. The couple will touch on this subject when the series, "Little People, Big World" returns to TLC on March 25, 2014.
