According to ComicBook.com on Dec. 20, when Amy Adams was being interviewed about "American Hustle", she was also asked what her opinion in regards to the body shaming that Gal Gadot has been receiving in regards to Zack Snyder's choice in choosing her as Wonder Woman for "Batman vs. Superman". The main criticism that Gadot has received is the fact that she's a rather petite woman and would not fit the bill for the comic drawn Amazonian-build.
Adams had expressed that even though she isn't as perfect or "classically drawn woman" as those characters portrayed in the comics, that she doesn't buy into the fact that it's something that Gadot would have an issue with as Snyder's choice for the film.
In addition to that, Adams did express that since Snyder is at the helm for a "Superman" sequel, that his choice would be credible enough to think that Gadot would be a "beast" of a woman.
“If she’s working with Zack, and she’s going to be Wonder Woman, she is going to be yoked, man. He is going to make her a beast".
"Batman vs. Superman" will be released in theaters on July 15, 2015.
