Amon Amarth to bring Deceiver of the Gods Tour to Dallas Tues. Jan 21

Bar your doors and hide your women- the Vikings are coming. And by Vikings, I’m referring to our brethren in Swedish metal band Amon Amarth.

Currently on tour to promote 2013’s highly-praised Deceiver of the Gods, they are scheduled to play a headlining show on Tues. Jan. 21 at the Dallas House of Blues with opening acts Enslaved and Skeletonwitch.

The Dallas show is the 4th stop on the tour, which kicked off on Jan. 17th in Las Vegas, NV. No strangers to theatricality, Amon Amarth’s first show featured the world premier of their epic music video for “Father of the Wolf”, a 10-minute long cinematic experience that any self-respecting fan should watch before coming to the show.

Tickets can be purchased from the House of Blues or on their website. Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance, and $30 if purchased the day of the show. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

The Dallas House of Blues is located at 2200 N. Lamar Street.
