It's often been suggested - in jest of course - that the reason there are so many death metal bands to emerge from Sweden is because of how insanely cold it is there.
But despite the plethora of Swedish death metal groups in existence only a few truly stand out - and Amon Amarth is one of those rare few.
Still riding high on their epic June 2013 release, Deceiver of the Gods, Amon Amarth has decided to spend the first couple months of 2014 bulldozing the rock and roll highways of the U.S. Enslaved and Skeletonwitch are also on board for this killer tour.
Kicking off in Las Vegas and culminating in San Diego the Deciever of The Gods Tour is going to snake all over the U.S., and on Friday, February 7, Amon Amarth and company will be rolling into Chicago's House of Blues.
Doors open at 6:30 P.M. and the musical decimation begins at 8 for this 17+ show.
