Tonight's season finale episode of "Amish Mafia" is titled, "Holy War." Levi is the head of the Amish Mafia in Lancaster, Pa.
Esther has led Levi on to save her brother from his wrath. Levi showed up at Esther's house to take her to see something. He takes her to a quarry to show her John's buggy, that was being taken out of the river. Levi knows that he is being played and now Esther does not know where her brother is.
When he returned, Levi's office was completely trashed. John has been hiding out at one of the huts. Now he knows that he has to get out of there. Jolin and Alvin find John and chase after him. They locked John in an empty silo and brought Levi back. He told Levi that he was not paid enough, but Levi cannot trust him. Then he sent Jolin in order to straighten him out.
John left Lancaster and went to Ohio to work to repay his debts. He wants to work with Merlin, but Merlin does not trust John either. Merlin gave John the Amish Bible to read. If he can be a trustworthy person, he may listen and learn from Merlin.
Levi knows that Jolin did not teach John a lesson and knows that he can only trust Alvin. Merlin is teaching John how to play chess. He is living in a crappy trailer supplied by Merlin. Merlin told him how he will work his way up on Merlin's organization. John wants to take the king down and earn his spot. In Pennsylvania, Levi goes to Esther to find John. Esther found Jolin at the gun range and told him that he would never move up in Levi's organization. He taught her how to shoot a gun. She got an adrenalin rush and broke Amish law by touching a gun. Jolin knows that because he is Mennonite, Levi uses him to do dirty work. Esther tries to persuade Jolin to leave Levi's employ. Levi moved his office to a trailer in another location so that Merlin could not find him. Levi got a phone call from Alan and ordered the producers to stop filming while he spoke to Alan. Jolin called Levi to talk to him. Levi is not happy that John got to escape. Jolin left Levi and gave him the phone back. Alvin is not happy to see Jolin go.
John was inducted into Merlin's group in a traditional ceremony, and is now part of Merlin's group. At the York County Fair, Esther went there with another Amish girlfriend. She rode a mechanical bull, something an Amish girl should never do. Levi took another girl to the fair who has her eye on him for his power and money. Esther saw Levi and confronted him and his new lady. She plans to make it work between her and Levi and Esther's loss is her gain. The art of war taught Merlin to keep his friends close and his enemies closer. He had a meeting with Levi. He told him that John was now working for him and that his people want him to be in charge. He criticized Levi for not wearing a hat.
When Levi returned to his trailer, it was ablaze. They do not call the fire department; they keep things to themselves. Now for sure, Levi knows that the war is on and is prepared to battle. Levi drives to Ohio with Alvin to meet with the bishop and have Merlin shunned.
Merlin met with the bishop, but the cameras had to be turned off. The bishop was surprised to hear that Merlin had done these things.
When Merlin went to collect from a store, they could not pay him because he was shunned. Now anyone in the community cannot deal with him if he is shunned. In Ohio, the worst thing is to be shunned. It can take up to six months to be reinstated. He knows that Lebanon Levi is behind this shunning, and he will pay.
At the Lancaster County Prison, Alan has been released. He borrows the producer's phone to make a call to Levi. He tells him that he is mad because he did four months for Levi. Because Levi called the cops on him instead of taking care of the matter himself. Levi claims not to know what he is talking about, but Alan tells him to watch his back. Now Levi is running out of friends and gaining plenty of enemies on "Amish Mafia."
