On the Jan. 16 episode of "Amish Mafia," titled "The Reckoning," one of the items that was discussed was Alan's arrest and Levi Stoltzfus being accused of setting him up.
Alan Beiler, known as the "Black Amish Man," says that Levi Stoltzfus set him up and stole four months of his life. He told viewers that the leader of the "Amish Mafia" wanted him out of the way. Even though he was sent to jail, Beiler says that he can "put Levi away" by going higher up.
Who exactly is higher up than Levi? Could the "Black Amish Man" mean going to the bishops... the same bishops that cannot do anything about the group because they were never baptized? Or could he be talking about Merlin, who already has a beef with Esther's throwaway lover?
It was revealed on "The Reckoning" that Merlin did speak to Alan Beiler while he was in jail, but neither of them would say anything further about the subject. It would make sense for the pair to work together since they both have a serious problem with Levi and want him gone.
One statement from the "Black Amish Man" was when he stated that he had been sexually abused by two men when he was young. He says that after it happened, his life became very dark and it ultimately led him to use drugs. This revelation was heartbreaking and gave some clues as to how he ended up with a criminal record in the first place. It is horrible that it was swept under the rug instead of the men being held accountable.
Levi Stoltzfus denies doing anything to get Alan Beiler arrested and says he did not set him up. What did you think of the "Amish Mafia" episode titled, "The Reckoning?"
