'Amish Mafia' airs special Discovery Channel episode: Part 2

Tonight's "Amish Mafia" recap left off when Esther showed up on John's doorstep in Minot, N.D. She brought him a pie, in hopes of luring him back to Lancaster, where it seems she wants to manipulate John to come back to take on Levi; the leader of the "Amish Mafia" in Lancaster, Pa.

Although afraid of their younger brother, Freeman, Esther agreed to visit with him.

Jolin agreed to meet with the woman in a place outside of Levi's reach. She came to meet Jolin, and as she ran for his truck, a man on horseback was chasing after her. The production camera crew was in sight because of the quick moves Jolin had to make to bring her to safety. The man on horseback retreated.

In Lancaster, Caleb was getting ready to get the horse from the swindler. His friend will be driving to enable him to get the horse easier. In the darkness, it was difficult to see what transpired, but Caleb left quickly.

Alan has been spending his days since he left prison; just watching Levi. He related that Levi broke 200 years of tradition by involving the police. The matter should have been handled within the community. The producer questioned Alan because he believed he was a changed man and over his grudge. He said that he wanted to keep Levi in his sight.

Levi is on his way to pick up Crazy Dave from rehab. He needs him to throw more parties to raise money. Breit tells fans that Dave had a DUI with a high blood-alcohol level, warning them of a problem. His probation was to go to rehab, and he now wants to help Levi with the tough job he has.

As Merlin is reading the Bible, Rosa, Merlin's sister gave him a stern talking to. She will take the risk of getting him unshunned. Rosa feels much anger towards Levi, by spreading lies about her brother. She will gladly risk it all for her oldest brother. She told Merlin that he should not be depressed because this shows Levi that he won. She knows that Merlin was the chosen one and will do everything to help. When Merlin asked for a sign, he never expected his sister to come to his aid. She gave him a long hug out in the open; another thing Amish did not do. He told the viewers that Amish parents do not even hug their children.

In Lancaster, Jolin spoke to Rebecca; he asked them to put the cameras down. She accused her husband of being an abusive scum bag. He swore he would never let her go. Jolin brought her to a safe house. If anyone came looking for her, they would call him and he would take the matter into his own hands. He is now a lone wolf with no affiliation to anyone.

In Pinecraft, Alvin changed out of his Amish clothes, so he would not be recognized. He spoke to a man who knew Jonas. Alvin told him that he needed to talk to him because his family is sick. The man would take Alvin to him.

In Minot, John and Esther are on the way to see Freeman. John went in first to talk to Freeman while Esther waited in the car. John waved Esther to come in, but she believes it is a terrible idea. Esther reluctantly went in; Freeman just stared at her. They said a silent prayer as they sat around the table.

After they met, Esther did not want to take Freeman back with them. He had both Merlin and Levi coming after him, and needed protection. Esther agreed that if Freeman had a cleansing; more of an exorcism, then she would agree to it. They must have the bishop pray over him to do this and hope that it works.

As Merlin tries to reclaim his status in the community, he is still being shunned by people who he knew all his life. His guys no longer work for him, as they do not want to be shunned for associating with him. He swears that Levi will pay for this.

As Alvin found Jonas' address, he told the cameras not to film this part. After ten minutes, Alvin came out and told the cameras that Jonas must be on the bus tonight, or he would return tomorrow.

Alan met Pastor Ray in prison, and it has changed him. When prisoners had Bible questions, they came to Alan. Pastor Ray gave Alan some strong words to keep him on the right path. He told Alan never to repay evil with evil.

Caleb returned to Levi to tell him it did not go so well because the lights went on at the house when he attempted to get the horse. Now Levi is angry, and he will go get the horse himself and told the film crew to stay away.

In North Dakota, they were conducting a cleansing ceremony on January 31, at 2:10 a.m., candles were lit around him, as the bishop prayed. His body convulsed, and they proclaimed the evil spirits were removed. He was cleansed with water on his head. Time will tell if it really worked. To be continued in part three of "Amish Mafia."
