Amir Khan pushing his rematch with Peterson in Los Angeles

Los Angeles - Not only does British boxer Amir Khan train out of the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, he found himself in Los Angeles today selling a May 19th Las Vegas rematch against Lamont Peterson to the assembled boxing media.

In their first go around, Khan lost to Peterson via split decision. The American fighter, Peterson, was aided by Khan's inability to follow referee Joseph Cooper's directions to not push and eventual two point deduction on the judges' scorecards.

Many fans and pundits slammed Cooper for enforcing a simple boxing rule, and Khan cried himself a river after only his second professional defeat.

It is doubtful whoever the referee might be on May 19th will deduct points from Khan for pushing, holding, or any other infractions, and the Brit' finds himself a favorite once again.

The bout will be televised on Home Box Office (HBO) within the United States' territories.
