According to a Jan. 3 report from, Americana MMA has signed TUF 20 contestant Paige "12 Gauge" VanZant (3-1) to an apparel deal.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed to the public, and it has not yet been announced when VanZant's signature shirt will be unveiled.

Fight fans are encouraged to regularly check the Americana MMA website for updates.

VanZant, 19, is a standout strawweight who holds a 3-1 record since turning pro in 2012.

She has competed against some of the top 115-pounders in the world, including Tecia Torres, Jordan Nicole Gaza and Amber Stautzenberger.

"12 Gauge" recently relocated from Nevada to northern California to pursue her MMA career by training at Team Alpha Male.

“Team Alpha Male is really well known for their lower weight fighters. Being able to work out with guys like Urijah [Faber] and Joseph [Benavidez] and other women like Veronica [Rothenhausler] is going to be great," VanZant said of the move.

VanZant, an Invicta FC veteran, was recently selected to take part in Season 20 of the UFC's long-running reality show, The Ultimate Fighter.

Under Faber's guidance, VanZant has shown great improvement and is now a heavy favorite to advance deep into the show's tournament.

“She’s currently 3-1 in pro fights and has already came out on top of some serious competition,” Faber said of VanZant. “We [Team Alpha Male] are always on the lookout for rising stars. Vanzant is definitely going to be an asset to the team, especially training with the lower weights.”
