The hardworking American tradesmen this Saturday night, August 23, 2014, will be honored at Bristol Motor Speedway as NASCAR presents the IRWIN Tools Night Race. IRWIN Tools will kick off their salute to “America's Real Working Hands” celebration to show support and give thanks to all the professional tradesmen behind the scene on the track and across the country, who get little to no recognition. The celebration will continue after the race with weeks of activities that will show support for the men and woman who are the backbone of our country and raise awareness for “National Tradesmen Day” on September 19, 2014.

At Saturday nights race IRWIN Tools will give 300 professional tradesmen from across the country the great honor of being Grand Marshals, who together will stand at the fourth turn of the track and command drivers to “start your engines.” But the best gift is IRWINs give away of 1000 grandstand tickets to tradesmen in a show of appreciation to tradesmen throughout the country.

The IRWIN Tools Night Race is one of the most popular races of the year and the Bristol Motor Speedway is considered to one of the most exciting tracks with its extraordinarily steep banking, concrete surface, two pit roads and its always exciting race finish. Other happenings at the track include: Wynonna and The Big Noise as pre-race entertainment, a pre-race appearance by Austin Dillon, Sprint Cup Series rookie with the Richard Childress Team, Danica Patrick autograph session and Miss Sprint Cup appearance.
