American Superstars Competition

American Superstars & Springtime Productions has just announced that they will be looking for a Grand Prize Winner: AMERICAN SUPERSTARS AWARD during the showcases at the Celebrity Impersonators Convention on Tuesday & Wednesday, March 2 & 3 at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The winner will be announced on Thursday, March 4 during The Reel Awards.   

Grand Prize: 

Perform a song or act in the 8:30 p.m. American Superstars show on Friday, March 5.  The winner will be coached on Friday by Mr. Donny Moore, show producer; rehearse on Friday which will be open to the press; received a complimentary suite on Friday evening as well as dinner at the Top of the World restaurant.  The press will also be invited to the performance and post-show Meet & Greet. 
 

Vegas Tribute Idol Competition

International Celebrity Images is proud to announce the 1st Annual Vegas Tribute Idol competition during the showcases on Tuesday & Wednesday as well.  If you have not already registered for the convention (which automatically signs you up for a 4-minute showcase), then this is your chance to be a part of this exciting new event.  Pre-register $100 fee is required, which will allow entrance to the 3 showcases (Tuesday day & eve, Wednesday day).  You can pay through the website with paypal or print out the forms and fax with your credit card information to 760-318-0464.  Make sure that you fill out the showcase registration form on this website. 

The competition is open to any tribute artist, impersonator or impressionist and will be limited to the first 100 entries, including any non-competing showcases.  If you have registered to attend the convention already, you have the option to compete or not and will be asked your preference.  You will be judged by a panel of your peers and talent buyers on your vocal ability, stage presence and appearance. 

Prizes to be awarded:

• 1st Place Winner:  $500 cash prize, a performance in The Reel Awards on Thursday, March 4 and a trophy;

• 2nd Place Winner:  $150 cash prize, full page color ad in the upcoming Sunburst Convention book ($150 value)and a trophy; (note:  if the 1st Place Winner is not available to perform at The Reel Awards, then the 2nd Place Winner will have that honor);

• 3rd Place Winner:  $100 cash prize, a 2-night complimentary guest room at the Stratosphere Hotel and a trophy

• 4th Place Winner:  a trophy

• 5th Place Winner:  a trophy 

•  All contestants are required to attend the stage manager's meeting on your scheduled day at 10:00 a.m. at which time you will receive performance instructions and turn in your tracks (which need to be clearly marked with your name & track number for your showcase).  Performance order will be determined by a random drawing that will take place on Feb. 25.  You will receive a 4-minute performance window so be careful of your time, as it will begin the moment you are on the stage. 

The top 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 3rd at 3:50 p.m.
