American Red Cross Assisting The Typhoon Stricken Philippines

On Saturday November 9, 2013 a devastating killer Typhoon named Haiyan hit the Philippines like a freight train hitting a volks wagon beetle.

After Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines it left a path of mayhem,death,destruction,and the need of a response teams from the American Red Cross and other governmental, private agencies, and non profit Christian organizations that has the ability to receive donations and administer aid to people that were badly injured, left homeless, and need food, water, and a helping hand.

As of Friday November 22, 2013 the death toll of Typhoon stricken Philippines was 5,235 with the death toll expectancy to reach numbers much higher.

The search for the missing people and dead bodies has been and will continue to be a long drawn out effort and some people who died due to Typhoon Haiyan their bodies may never be found.
