Ninja Warrior is the Americanized version of  the popular Japanese Obstacle Course show Sasuke. This year, G4TV held auditions to become a contestant on the show. The finals aired on December 19th. Over 2,000 hopefuls showed up but only ten were chosen to make the trip to Japan with hopes of conquering Mt. Midoriyama.

Out of the ten finalists, many were defeated in the first two stages. Freerunner Levi Meeuwenburg advanced the farthest out of all the American atheletes. He made it to the third of the four grueling stages but was defeated by a familiar foe, the "cliffhanger". Ninja Warrior can be seen on G4TV, check your local listings.
