Balmoral Park has released its roster of eligible Standardbreds for its premiere events, the historic American Nationals, which will be raced this summer and fall at the Crete, IL oval.
Aged pacing nominations totaled 47 and include such top side-wheelers as 2012 Little Brown Jug winner Michael’s Power and millionaires Foiled Again, Sweet Lou, Golden Receiver, Betterthancheddar
Aged Trot nominees include 2012 Three-Year-Old Dan Patch Champion Market share, as well as Arch Madness, Uncle Peter, Wishing Stone, Check Me Out and Maven.
2012 Pacer of the Year and Two-Year-Old Dan Patch Champion Captaintreacherous heads up the sophomore pacing colt division that includes 70 standouts. Multiple stake winner Odds On Equuleus and Breeders Crown champion Rockin Amadeus are among the nominees.
The filly sophomore division includes stake victors I Luv The Nitelife and L Dees Lioness, while the sophomore trotting colt division sports the likes of Royalty For Life and Major Athens, among others.
Local standout Trot Fudge Sundae and Handover Belle have both been nominated to the sophomore filly ranks.
