In an effort to "educate the American public about issues pertaining to Palestine and its rich cultural heritage" American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) has kicked off its multi-year public library project by hand-delivering books to libraries in Bridgeview and Palos Heights in suburban Chicago.
The books provided by AMP are quite varied and come from esteemed or well-known individuals. Awad Hamdan, AMP national program director says, “We chose credible and well-researched books on history and politics as well as two very compelling memoirs. We feel very gratified in the response we’ve been receiving from librarians across the country."
Each package of books costs AMP approximately $200 but apparently to them, money is valued less than truth.
Indeed, the value of truth is priceless.
