To the delight of the viewers, Phillip Phillips joined Sam Woolf on stage at the Nokia Theatre. According to the National Ledger on Wednesday, Phillips was one of a several professional entertainers that hit the stage.

The segment started out fairly simple with Sam Woolf performing Phillips’ song “Home.” With a perfect vocal quality, the song really had fans grateful to see the artist return to the stage. Many were hoping for Phillip Phillips to show up on stage to start singing and that’s what happened.

With the judges singing along, Phillip Phillips performed his latest single “Raging Fire.” The catchy tune had everyone bobbing their heads as they enjoyed the latest single from the successful performer.

The opportunity to see the similarities of the two artists included that both Phillip and Sam brought their guitars to the stage. Offering up a similarity in styles, the fans got to see just how much the two stars sounded alike.

While most fans were satisfied with the performances, everyone was disappointed that Phillip Phillips joined Sam Woolf, but the two singers didn't actually sing together like other duets. It was more of a pass off between the two stars and Woolf offered background vocals on the catchy hit.

Phillip Phillips was one of many stars that hit the stage at the Nokia Theater to perform for the fans. Other performers that were part of the show include Lady Antebellum, KISS, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Jason Mraz, Jennifer Nettles, Paramore and Darius Rucker.
