May 25, 2010 -- The third and final song for the Top 2 on American Idol for Crystal Bowersox was Up to the Mountain originally sung by Patty Griffin. This ballad of sorts was deciding coronation song, like in years past, that provided what the winner would sing (and what the producers would sell on iTunes) once a winner was announced.

Last year, Kris Allen was sang "No Boundaries," and David Cook had 'Time of My Life' for closing songs. While this can be hit or miss, there definitely was a real disappointment for the song as it seemed hand picked compared to Bowersox's performance

Tonight both of the performers sang the song and the judges took a moment to wrap up their feelings about the song as well as the competition:

Randy: "An amazing song by an amazing singer. That was incredible. One of your greatest performances."
Ellen: "You are in a league of your own. You have a beautiful voice."
Kara: "Tonight, you were completely emotionally invested in that song. You really blossomed."
Simon: "I thought that was by far the best performance of the night. Since is the the final critique I'm ever going to give, that was outstanding."

Was posted moments after the show completed...seems to me someone needs to slow her roll and make sure what she writes is actually factual, and not just a bunch of crap posted up fast to be first....
