'American Idol:' Todrick Hall wants on 'Glee'

Todrick Hall is taking his elimination from "American Idol" in stride. One day after being eliminated following his performance of Queen's "Somebody to Love," the Texas resident started a campaign to get on a show that recently re-ignited an interest in that song: "Glee."

Repeatedly during the conference call Friday Todrick emphasized that his new goal "was to be on 'Glee'...the judges told me [I'd work well] on it, so that's something I'd like to try and do now." He didn't share any details about what character he'd like to play alongside Finn and Rachel, but he did proclaim that Ellen DeGeneres was going to help him out with his campaign on her show.

Out of the former eliminated "Idol" contestants on Thursday night, Todrick's exit was probably the most expected -- however, the fact that he went following what was arguably his best performance of the season left some of his more hardcore fans disappointed.

Todrick also told reporters that he would have busted out "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" during Rolling Stones week, and he also would have incorporated some of the dance moves that have been such a hot topic throughout the season.

Do you think that Todrick Hall would work well on "Glee?" Let me know your thoughts with a comment below and stay tuned for more "American Idol" news.

Todrick Hall is a con artist that isn’t man enough to sac up and own his mistakes without using the race card. First he whines about AI and not wanting to do “stereotypical black guy songs”, and then claims he wants to play “the typical black guy” on Glee while insulting the actor playing the handicapped wheelchair role (what a loser schmuck!). I also saw where he’s blaming his broadway experience for not getting more votes….it must be nice to have an excuse for everything, just like every other opportunistic liar con artist!!! I don't suppose it ever occurred to his overinflated ego that he didn't get the votes because the other contestants were more likeable? I guess if he spent more time thinking about that instead of dreaming up some crappy fan-fic storyline that lands him on a major T.V. show he might not feel so good about all the whining he's been doing. HE’S A PATHETIC EMBARASSMENT, GOOD RIDDANCE! The possibility he might whine his loser @ss onto “GLEE” is appalling! So is th
