The former American Idol finalist, the superstar singer Adam Lambert has a fan in Rob Halford. The singer has fans all over the world and according to a new report, the singer has a fan in Halford. In a new interview with Halford, he discusses what it was like to introduce Adam Lambert at the GLAAD awards, and shares his thoughts about the career that he thinks the singer will have in the future.
As sdgln.com reports, Halford says of Adam Lambert: "It was fantastic. It really was fantastic. I think Adam is a sensational singer and performer and entertainer. He’s got a long, long life ahead of him in show business. It was a great feeling. We don’t know each other, but we know a little bit about each other as far as what we feel we have tried to do within the gay community. So, it was like on the red carpet, the old god meeting the new god. The paparazzi went completely crazy. We couldn’t see each other because of the flashbulbs going off. Again, it was very, very important. It was another spectacular night with a lot of meaning attached to it for me."
Adam Lambert fans would certainly agree that the singer will be having quite a successful career ahead of him for years to come. The singer has already proven that the bond with his fans has only grown over the years, and has become a relationship that many of the top performers in the world also share with their fan base. 2010 has been a fantastic year for Adam Lambert and 2011 is already shaping up to be another great year, as he has been nominated for a Grammy award for his hit single, "Whataya Want From Me."

First and foremost - this is such a wonderful shout out from Rob Halford. In time more people won't be afraid to embrace the talent that Adam has, and he will get more of the recognition he deserves.

I agree with Rob, I think Adam is here for as long as HE wants to be! I think Adam is the type entertainer that will get bored after awhile and want to branch out and conquer other areas of entertainment. He seems to love a challenge and is good at everything he seems to try! Rock on Adam!

A shout out from a R'nR great like Rob Halford is HUGE but for him to say 'the Old God meets the New God on the Red Carpet' is MAMMOTH!! Michael Jackson also expressed the interest in meeting ADAM but unfortunately he passed away before that could happen. It's good to hear that important people in the music world are also ADAM fans along with those of us who LOVE our ADAM!!

Awesome! But please, can we stop using the headline American Idol? That was S8 and we're on S10! Adam is a rock star, not a reality show figure! And I was wondering about Elton John, too. What a dream if they ever performed together!!!
