'American Idol': Randy Jackson, James Durbin party with Jimmy Fallon (video)

Although this season of "American Idol" has drawn plenty of criticism, we will at least give Randy Jackson some credit for being part of an entertaining interview on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday night.

Early on, the chat largely consisted of Jimmy chatting up the judge about his bizarre sense of style, but then went on into the remaining contestants for the actual show. Randy denied that he "hated" Haley, and ultimately (in what was the worst part of the interview) reiterated the same sort of nonsense about song choice that he spewed out last week. (Jimmy also picked Lauren Alaina to win the whole competition.)

From there, things finally got a bit more entertaining as Randy offered to join Jimmy and The Roots to a performance of Journey -- a band he knows incredibly well. Not only did the two rock out to a part of "Anyway You Want It," but they were joined by recently-eliminated contestant James Durbin on vocals.
