'American Idol': Nicki Minaj talks about Mariah Carey feud with Ellen DeGeneres

The ongoing talk about the feud between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey never seems to die down. The “American Idol” judge Nicki Minaj talked to Ellen DeGeneres, which will air on Jan. 15, to set the record straight according to E! News on Jan. 14.

When asked by Ellen what exactly happened to cause the feud, Nicki admits that she really isn’t sure and she blames it on just being two divas. Nicki then learned that Mariah did not want her on the pannel and that really upset Nicki.

The current relationship between Minaj and Carey is okay as far as Minaj is concerned. Minaj says she has gotten over it but can’t speak for Carey.

Nicki is not looking forward to the live shows because she can’t trust herself to not speak out if a comment is made. She admits she wants the show to be about the contestants and she doens’t want to be thought of as crazy.

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey will appear on “American Idol” as judges along with Randy Jackson and Keith Urban. Tune in Jan. 16. for the first episode of season 12 of "American Idol".
