American Idol fashion watch: Matt and his fedoras

OK, Matt - we get it. You look good in a fedora. Now please stop wearing them. You are starting to look like a high school choir member performing numbers from Justin Timberlake's first album. And P.S. - your performance was pretty good tonight, but I was paying more attention to your - yeah, you guessed it - your fedora.

Anoop's rendition of "True Colors" was very touching. His outfit on the other hand, was more appropriate for a Sprite commercial. Every week it looks as though he is an older man trying to look younger.

I'm not a fan of Danny Gokey and his rendition of "Stand By Me" was odd. I wasn't feelin' it - BUT - his outfit was semi-decent. I say that because I have a pet peeve about guys wearing a blazer and an untucked button down shirt. But I do like that color.

Allison, our resident AI rocker, gave us a taste of Bonnie Raitt tonight and her outfit was way better than last week's - but that doesn't mean it was cool. She looked like she was going for that Evanescence look and ended up looking like a Goth artsy homecoming princess.

I am not going to say anything about Lil's outfit tonight. Well, it was kinda hot. I love her curves. Anyway, I like Lil Rounds, but she is totally not delivering. Her performance of "What's Love Got To Do With It" seemed old and bland. I agree with the judges 100 percent. If she doesn't give some personality and start singing some better songs, she might have to go. She needs to give me a reason to vote for her.

What are your thoughts on tonight's performances and fashions?
