Last night on “American Idol” the contestants again performed the songs that they originally auditioned with, and to say that they all were outstanding does not quite pay tribute to their talent.

Caleb, Jena, Jessica, and Malaya stood out, nevertheless, all without question gave it all, showing that they had listened to the judges and perfected those nuances that they needed to work on and thus make their performances memorable.

The voting and who goes home will be define by favorites and who has more fans, because to say that one missed the mark will be unfair and inaccurate. Tonight the votes will be tallied and unfortunately one idol will be in the bottom, it will not be surprising if the judges chose to use their one save, but regardless of what takes place, the remaining 8 have much to be proud of and their careers are just beginning; good luck to all of them.

“American Idol” runs on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT and Thursday at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
