"American Idol" has only been on the air for two nights, but we've already managed to have quite a bit of drama behind-the-scenes.
First of all, let's look at some of the controversy surrounding Skiiboski (a.k.a. Antonio Wheeler), the loopy-but-talented singer who made it through in Atlanta thanks to "yes" votes from three out of the four judges. As it turns out, Skiiboski's had an interesting past to say the least. He released a rather controversial video in 2008 singing about "ice cream" as a metaphor for sex. (You can watch it here, but be warned that mothers everywhere wouldn't approve.) In addition, Radar Online is reporting that Skiiboski faced some court drama in 2006 thanks to allegations of "tasering" by police following an incident of drug use.
Could these past problems hurt Skiiboski's chances of moving on past Hollywood? It's perfectly possible that he could also get phased out along the way; "Idol" has a varying stance on singers with sketchy pasts; more often than not it depends on the case.

And now for something completely different: could Elton John be Simon Cowell's replacement? It's possible if you believe TMZ. The "Candle in the Wind" singer had no comment regarding the rumors at this point, and it's honestly far too early in the process to tell. Considering that Ellen wasn't brought on board until last fall, I would be surprised if Simon's successor was named at any point during this season.
