American Idol season 9/

Tuesday night on Fox, American Idol’s season 9 finally made it’s way into American homes. The 2-hour-show kicked off the Boston auditions, where 9,000 hopefuls showed up for the chance of a life time opportunity.

Never boring, the show introduced fanstastic raw talent, run of the mill karaoke singers, and right down horrible, run and hide type of wannabes.
Simon Cowell

who announced on Monday that this will be his last season, despite his often pessimistic and sharp toungue demeanor, who is usually right on target- will be missed. Introducing guest judge, Victoria Beckham, who is a former “Spice Girls” showed a different kinder side to that of her commonly known for snippy English attitude.

The regular judges sans Paula Abdul  whose sweet and gentle manner will be missed, were all there. Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi, along with real life sweet guy, host Ryan Seacrest. Guest judges during the auditions will include Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige, country star Shania Twain, Avril Lavigne, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris and Kristin Chenoweth.
Ellen Degeneres will join the crew when the episodes come to Hollywood.
It was a promising first night for the 9th season of American Idol, and the show will continue with auditions through January and into February, with Chicago (Jan.19th), heading to Orlando, (Jan.20th), Dallas (Jan.26th) and finally arriving in LA (Jan. 27th) ending it in Dever on (Feb. 2nd).

Feb.3rd, the previous auditions will be sorted, then it’s Hollywood week which will take us to the live shows and finally the American Idol, which will give the fans the chance to vote for their favorite 9th , season idol.
