Fox’s American Idol is back in full swing. So far we have seen the auditions from cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Orlando, and Los Angeles. However, all to the Texas Idol fans are looking forward to tonight’s show, where the auditions are in Dallas.
The American Idol auditions took place in Arlington at the Cowboy’s Stadium. Registration for the Season 9 auditions took place on Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25, and auditions were held on Friday, June 26.
The guest judge for tonight’s episode will be Joe Jonas, from the pop band, Jonas Brothers. Back in June, USA today reported “If you were one of the first people before Joe Jonas at the American Idol auditions in Dallas, you probably got off easier than later hopefuls.”
This is due to the fact that Jonas did not want to hurt anyone’s feelings. However, he got over that quickly and began spitting out his honest opinion.
As always, the American Idol auditions are interesting to say the least, and I’m sure that Dallas will not disappoint in the amusement factor of the show. Let’s hope that there are several amazing singers from Dallas that make it to the next round and on to the top 24.
American Idol will air on Fox tonight at 7pm CST.
