HOLLYWOOD – During Idol results last night, Michael Big Mike Lynche looked forward to going back to his family. America listened and he was sent home.
Two family representatives of each American Idol Top 4 finalists were sitting on the side of the stage while Michael Lynche, Casey James, Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox stood anxiously on the center.
Right after Idol host Ryan Seacrest announced James as one of the top 3, the audience probably had a hint of who was heading home.
Idol fans had been buzzing about the music chemistry between Dewyze and Bowersox when they sang a duet during Tuesday night’s competition. They are front-runners . . . the lead . . . and tonight . . . it was once again proven.
Big daddy Mike said, “I’m looking forward to getting back home…” and that was exactly what he got.
Next Tuesday, Casey James, Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox will compete during the Top 3 American Idol hometown visit week.
Crystal Bowersox: safe in black, safe in Idol
Mamasox shopped at Metropark one time and a store representative said she got “mostly black and dark gray.” During the first American Idol Top 4 press conference, the Bohemian folk singer wore their Gloria lace top.
Almost every night at American Idol, the Boho singer-guitarist who used to busk at subways wore black. It was a safe color that represented her choice of music during the past few weeks of the competition. But not last night when Idol judge Simon Cowell said Bowersox was “back in the game.”
Black – a safe color – a representation of American Idol Crystal Bowersox's safe plight towards Top 3.
