Just like fellow contestants Lee DeWyze and Casey James, "American Idol" contestant Crystal Bowersox returned to her hometown of Toledo, Ohio on Friday to give some of her local fans a real treat -- a performance of some of her songs, including local hit "Holy Toledo."
Along the way, Crystal was also given a key to the city by Toledo's mayor and took part in a parade in front of rows of screaming fans.
At this point, Bowersox is favored to win the competition, though she still faces some tight competition from DeWyze. The hometown visits are a tradition for "Idol" dating all the way back to the show's first season, as they give each finalist a chance to connect back with their local fan base as a last-ditch attempt for votes.
So what's next for Crystal on Tuesday's episode of "Idol?" The singer is set to sing "Maybe I'm Amazed," a song specifically picked for the singer by judge Ellen DeGeneres. From there, it will just be a test to see if she will make the grand finale.
