Crystal Bowersox loves singing, and now we also know that the "American Idol" contestant has no problem posing for photographs. In a new photo obtained by Radar Online, the single mom from Chicago is seen shoving a guy's face into a plate of spaghetti. Not only is it pretty funny, but it also shows that Bowersox has the personality (and humor) needed to go far on "Idol."
A close friend of Bowersox had this to say to Radar about her chances:
"Crystal is a little unconventional and she likes to have fun...I think she’s really going to surprise people on 'American Idol' because she has this amazing natural talent and people can really relate to her.
“She is an amazing mom to her son Tony and she is really doing this to give him a better future and I think people are really going to support her as the competition moves forward.”
Crystal certainly impressed the team of judges right out of the gate, but it wasn't until the first part of Hollywood Week that she really got everyone's attention. Her rendition of "Natural Woman" not only drew praise from Simon Cowell and company, but it even had some of her competition in the audience singing along and echoing her part. Along with Andrew Garcia's rendition of "Straight Up," this easily has to be considered a defining moment of the show's ninth season. (Of course, you can check out the video below.)
