Crystal Bowersox can add Melissa Etheridge to her growing list of supporters. In a recent performer on iheartradio, the popular singer (who recently announced a split from Tammy Lynn Michaels) talked about meeting the "American Idol" favorite for the first time in 2008:
"I met her Tuesday night and the other idols. She said she saw me at the Chicago Theatre in 8/8/08...and that's when I signed it, her guitar...I'm like, 'I kind of remember that!"
A number of famous women have signed Crystal's prized guitar (which is not the one in the picture) -- as a matter of fact, she had Miley Cyrus stamp her John Hancock on it on camera earlier this season.
Melissa added that it was "up to" producers if she would appear on "Idol" anytime soon -- after all, she was just on "Dancing with the Stars," and the two shows have a heated competition for ratings on Tuesday nights.
