American Idol fans can hardly wait before the new season of the reality show begins. On Wednesday the show, along with several of the personalities let the fans know that American Idol returns to FOX in two weeks. The excitement of the countdown has stirred up quite a bit of interest as fans want to see the new judges and new season in full. On Wednesday Randy Jackson announced the milestone of the upcoming show to the fans.
“Almost time for the new season of @AmericanIdol . Get excited!” tweeted Randy Jackson from his official Twitter account. One of four judges, he will be joined his year by Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
While Randy Jackson might have been one of the first stars to announce the two week milestone, American Idol also took time to share the announcement on Wednesday with fans online.
“Who's excited?! #Idolin2weeks,” tweeted American Idol from their official Twitter account. The first several weeks of American Idol are expected to be filmed auditions, but after the airing of Hollywood week, the judges along with the remaining contestants will head to Hollywood to start the live portions of the competition.
So who is excited about American Idol returning to FOX? Well all the American Idol fans of course!
