'American Idol' alleged racism could turn into lawsuit (Video)

"American Idol" is now being accused of racism. On Jan. 25, TV Guide reported that according to a letter sent to U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission there is a plan to sue "American Idol" and also Fox.

There are nine contestants involved in this lawsuit. They are: Corey Clark (Season 2), Jaered Andrews (Season 2), Donnie Williams (Season 3), Terrell Brittenum (Season 5), Derrell Brittenum (Season 5), Thomas Daniels (Season 6), Akron Watson (Season 6), Ju'Not Joyner (Season 8) and Chris Golightly (Season 9).

Every single person to ever be disqualified from the show has been black. Now this could just be coincidence. They have been kicked off for things like not admitting to their criminal past. Their attorney is trying to say that they want to humiliate the black people and boost the ratings.

Jennifer Hudson is a perfect example of a black woman who has done amazing from the show. Fantasia Barrino won the show.

At this time it is not a formal lawsuit so it will be interesting to see if "American Idol" does get sued.

"American Idol" is doing great this season. Last night fans fell in love with Megan Miller in the auditions.
