During the middle of the "American Idol" audition episode in St. Louis, we once again had the opportunity to see some solid talent -- and also some memorable stories to go along with it.
Here are just a few contestants who stood out from the pack:
- Rachelle Lamb - Her last name is Lamb, but she roared like a lion during what was a powerful audition set to a Faith Hill song. Rachelle also did the rare (and potentially risky) move of bringing in her daughter with her to the audition.
- Reis Kloeckener - The young man has went through a history of being bullied, and with that in mind it's amazing that he even had the courage to show up and audition. We're certainly happy he did, especially considering his voice was light, airy, and moving enough to bring Steven Tyler to tears.
- Ethan Jones - We have a rocker! Ethan carried with him a gritty voice that would be perfect for mainstream rock, even if he is more of a country singer at heart. Like Reis, he also managed to move Steven -- but with a story about his father entering treatment to get clean and sober.
