American Idol revealed 7 of their Top 24 contestants for Season 9 during Tuesday night's 'Hollywood Week, Night 3' episode.
The American Idol contestants got their final 'yes' or 'no' from the judges panel on the stage of the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, where the show's finale will take place. The additional 17 American Idol Season 9 finalist will be revealed on Wednesday night's episode.
The 7 contestants revealed as part of the American Idol Season 9 Top 24 are:
Michael "Big Mike" Lynche, a personal trainer whose wife gave birth to his first child during his American Idol audition week.
Didi Benami, who auditioned won over the judges with her delivery of Kara DioGuardi's song 'Terrified'.
Katelyn Epperly, the 19-year-old folk rocker from Iowa.
Casey Johnson the Southern rocker that Kara DioGuardi dubbed her Season 9 "crush".
Aaron Kelly, the 16-year-old Justin Bieber-esque pop singer, who frequently forgot his lyrics during Hollywood week.
Lee Dewyze, the beanie-wearing Chicago area contestant who used 'You Found Me' by The Fray for his final audition.
Todrick Hall, the dancer-turned-singer who starred in The Color Purple on Broadway with Season 3 American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino.
