Adam Lambert is apparently doing more than tweeting about the death of late fashion designer Alexander McQueen -- he's showing up to interviews dressed in his clothing. The "American Idol" runner-up arrived at a recent interview wearing a McQueen shirt, and he went on to talk about the designer's impact on the fashion world:
"The fashion world lost a visionary...who has created amazing pieces of clothing. If you look at his fashion shows, they are awe-sinpiring...he takes it beyond just normal, everyday streetwear and puts it in a place of theater and high art."
Adam has famously expressed an interest in fashion to such an extent that he's planning on attending New York Fashion Week. With the sudden death of McQueen on Thursday, however, we can only expect the week's activities to have a more somber tone than originally anticipated.
Of course, Adam will also be giving even more musical performances in the next couple of days. Stay tuned for more details and, as always, more "American Idol" news.

Comments
Alexander's mom had just died the prior week, he was intensely grieving. Too bad he wasn't given something to help him through his sorrow. If only a friend had been close by, maybe he's till be alive with us today. I've read stories that just prior to the act of committing suicide, a phone call -taht simple- changed the mood and changed a future. His death is doubly sad because he couldn't think straight when left alone.
