'American Idol': Adam Lambert visiting more of the South for Glam Nation

Although there are still a number of people out there waiting for Adam Lambert to officially book a gig in Texas, there is still some good news -- the "American Idol" singer is at least for sure coming to the area. According to some brand-new tour dates just announced through Adam Official, Adam will be coming to Oklahoma City on August 6. While this doesn't necessarily help everyone in the Lone Star State, Oklahoma isn't too far a drive for people in the Dallas area.

Here are a few other new highlights on Adam's schedule:

  • August 1: Tempe, Arizona - The Marquee
  • August 7: Springfield, Missouri - Juanita K. Hammons Hall
  • August 10: Erie, Pennsylvania - Warner Theatre

Thankfully, all of these dates mentioned about are for the Glam Nation Tour featuring Allison Iraheta and Orianthi. There also more on the way, which could mean that Texas (and possibly even Adam's "inspiration city" of New Orleans) could be shown some love.
