'American Idol': Adam Lambert talks about future of music

We all know that Adam Lambert is having quite the good time right now with "For Your Entertainment" -- he is, after all, taking his music around the country for the Glam Nation Tour -- but what does the future hold?

In an interview with a Connecticut radio station (which you can see more of here thanks to the good folks at Zap2It), the "American Idol" singer lays out exactly what is beyond the horizon in terms of his music:

"We just had a big meeting with my record label ... There might be some more music that comes out of this [album, 'For Your Entertainment'], but definitely in 2011, the plan is to do a new album."

So what will this album sound like? It is really far too early to tell, but Adam is setting the course for most early successful musicians -- record an album, go on tour, and go straight to work on another album. With 20+ songs at his disposal, Adam can then perform longer shows and reach deeper into his own catalog.

Would anyone like to hear an album of Adam singing all the greatest love songs, like the one from Brigadoon, and Phantom of the Opera, and so on?
