'American Idol:' Adam Lambert talks about 'Amazing Race,' answers fan questions

Adam Lambert: all about rewards.

Adam Lambert is wrapping off a busy week by spending some time with his fans. The "American Idol" runner-up recorded an extensive interview on Thursday in conjunction with his recent collaboration with DonorsChoose.org. In it he of course talks about his own history in music education, such as how he remembers his music classes being growing up. In addition, he also took on a variety of other topics:

  • "The Amazing Race:" Adam said his ideal partner for the CBS reality show would be his friend Danielle -- though he also admitted that he didn't know very much about the show.
  • His "American Idol" touring jacket will return, with some added tails for effect. However, he did say that his ultimate plan is to donate it to charity.
  • He compares the Adam we see on stage to the Adam who lives day-to-day.

To listen to one part of the Q&A session, all you have to do is click below. Multiple parts are available once you make it to the end. (There is some actual video footage online, but I found the quality to be uneven.)

am i suprised by his answers. yes, in the best way possible. because he is always so honest and i believe that he really doesn't care if it is acceptable to the media. because us, as his fans absolutely love it. we don't care if he "gets carried away." in fact we love it and hope he gets carried away even more. we love his unfiltered words.
