Fresh off of the news that Adam Lambert is coming to New Zealand for a show in October, the "American Idol" singer has also announced some welcome news for fans in the country -- the next single off his album "For Your Entertainment."
The song -- which was famously penned by Lady Gaga -- is quite a departure from the releasing pattern we have seen in the United States thus far. Some concerns are present that the song's lyrics may not play as well in conservative America (as sad as that is), but at least the song is getting the recognition it deserves somewhere.
As for America, the next single to come off Adam's album is likely to be either "Sleepwalker" or "Aftermath," which both contain powerful messages, catchy lyrics, and a pop sound familiar to listeners.
Do you wish that "Fever" could be a single here in America? The single will be out in New Zealand (where the album as a whole is already Certified Platinum) on October 4.

Yes, I wish Fever could/would be released in the US. It is ridiculous that we can have so many misogynistic pop hits in this country, but having a man sing to another man in a loving way is too "radical" for American pop radio.

Not the original context, but works when talking Fever and making it a single in the U.S. We are still a minority in this Country and not proud of it. We come from all walks of life, station, faith, skin color, yet we know pretty much the reaction of Fever being a video here. So, I say BRAVO New Zealand. I hope it's not too many years until our Country actually stands for the freedom it so loudly expresses.
Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! FEVER is fabulous, great beat, fun song, but because of one pronoun, American Radio stations will not play it. They will play Rhianna's sex song, Christtina's and Miley's attempt at smut, but no, no, no, no to Adam singing, "There HE goes." What a joke !!

I love Sleepwalker and I do think it would be more appropriate for the Fall/Winter season, but, to have Fever released here in the US would be a major milestone. It is a great song and to not have it released because of 1 word is beyond ridiculous. Fever...bring it on....

Great news for Adam's fan in New Zealand, I hope the single also drops in other likewise open-minded countries as well. The U.S. music industry is held back by narrowminded and often hypocritical conservatives, but fans have the music anyway. No sense releasing the single here if it won't receive the airplay—and revenue—it so deserves. We are an embarrassment at times. This is one of them. . . Love you, Adam!

Fever has now started being played on radio here in NZ - sounds great of course and I know many Kiwis will love it as it is such a fun song to dance to. So amazing that we will finally get to see Adam - we are such a long way away from the rest of the world but we will give him a hell of a kiwi welcome when he hits that stage!
Just release them all. I wanna hear them all on the radio. :)
