Adam Lambert is ready to have "If I Had You" blast across the United States. The "American Idol" runner-up announced the news on his Twitter page early Monday, but also advised his fans to keep their radio requests of the song classy:
"Request IF I HAD YOU w your fav radio station but remember: once a day! Don't abuse the privilege! [sic] :) I love you all so much!"
Adam is saying this after some radio stations earlier this year reportedly became annoyed when requests for "Whataya Want From Me" flooded their phone lines. Sometimes, requesting songs too much can actually work against singers looking to establish connections with radio stations.
Adam's method of promotion is also different than Justin Bieber, who literally encourages his fans to "blast" his songs to radio stations as much as humanly possible.

ALREADY HAVE.
send requests yesterday and today. Love this song!
just requested to a local DJ and he said it was fine to request it but they would use their normal process to determine if they play it. Fair enough. I will keep requesting every day or so.
Got something to say?
