Adam Lambert is getting the opportunity to perform with some old friends on Friday night. After a long wait, New York City is finally getting their concert featuring three recent "American Idol" finalists: Lambert, Kris Allen, and Allison Iraheta. The city managed to bring in the most votes in a contest hosted by "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, so they therefore ended up receiving the show.
Probably the most fascinating aspect of the concert will be seeing how all of the singers' multiple fans manage to get along over the course of the night. We are in a little bit of a different situation than we were during the "American Idol" tour over the summer: each artist appeals to different crowds, and the fans of one singer are fairly often critical of the others.
For some of the more hardcore Glamberts out there, you also have an opportunity to win tickets to a private concert with Adam on February 15. How do you do it? All you need to do is dress up in your best Adam Lambert gear, and you can win a ticket to the invite-only show. The catch? Transportation will not be provided, so it's pretty restricted to people in the New York area.
Do you want to see Adam at either one of these concerts? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more "American Idol" news.
