More reports in from the 2009 American Idol tour. Yesterday we posted two videos from Adam Lambert performing, today two more.
Here's more of Adam performing on the tour stop in Columbus, Ohio, including a duet of "Slow Ride" with fellow American Idol contestant Allison Iraheta. This video starts with the view from behind Adam, which may either be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your point of view.
Another natural crossover for Adam Lambert is David Bowie, if not musically then certainly from a style standpoint. Here's Lambert doing a medley of Bowie songs at the same stop.

Adam is one of a kind and such a class act! Vocally, no one can touch him, and I don't care who they tout from other singing contests. He will thrill us for many years to come with his gorgeous voice and artistry.

You know, I'm just a teenager, and what do I know! But I really wish we could go back to the old American Idol, when all we looked at on stage was someone with a great voice. American Idol is going down hill and FAST. I like Allison, but sometimes I feel like I'm looking at something you would see in a strip show! I'm just glad my Mom doesn't even know who Adam is! Bring back David Archuleta and David Cook!!!
@Teri: Don't worry AI is definitely going backwards because there will never be another Adam and most are not watching AI anyway. Adam is too small for AI but we're just thankful for it's stage as Adam's platform. Enjoy the blandness.
@Elvis: Well, well, well, Elvis. You forgot how raunchy you were in your time that Ed Sullivan's Show shot your performance only from the waist up??? @Tina - I'm really looking forward when they all go their separate ways. This friendship between the Adam and Kris is nothing but only good fortune for Kris preventing his exit to oblivion. Because where Adam is, his name will follow. So, I want them to go on their solo adventure. I want to see how far Kris goes or how fast he fades away without him trailing Adam's name. Kris will never be swallowed up because of Kradamism. It's his security blanket. It will be Kris' end, if he separates from Adam's wings.
Mr. Bean you make a lot of sense. Kris would never have gotten as far in the competition if some fans weren't completely smitten with the idea of Kradam. When the tour is over Kris might be as well.
I saw the concert in Philly and the stage just ate the tiny Allen alive.
