'American Idol:' Adam Lambert gets support from young fan (photo link)

Adam Lambert has already spawned a number of look-a-like contests -- however, they usually involve people who are older than 18. Thanks to a new Twitter posting from the "American Idol" runner-up on Saturday, we got to see that Glamberts can come from any age group and do just about anything.

This particular kid is Alex, a six-year old fan who reportedly "loves" Adam so much that he dressed up like him for a performance on Friday night. Twitter user Melissa Lawlor posted the photo (which you can see right here) with the following caption:

"I had so much fun getting Alex ready for his big performance tonight, singing Born To Be Wild." (Yes, apparently Alex even signed autographs afterward.)

Of course, the immense "aww" factor of this photo alone was enough to make Adam put a link up to the picture on his own Twitter page. The singer is currently doing more global publicity for his debut album "For Your Entertainment" -- he recently landed at Heathrow Airport in London.

What do you think of Adam Lambert's young fan? Feel free to share your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more of the latest "American Idol" news.
