Adam Lambert is coming to a good many cities around the United States for his "Glam Nation" tour with Allison Iraheta and Orianthi this summer -- unfortunately, some fans are still missing out on an opportunity to see their favorite "American Idol" singer in action. So far, Adam has not announced any concert dates overseas, and some parts of the United States (such as Texas, Arizona, and many other southern states) are not currently on the schedule (though it could change soon).
With this in mind, a group of Adam fans have started up a "Glam Nation Petition" designed to have RCA and 19 Entertainment present a concert as a livecast pay-per-view event. In a statement sent to me early Tuesday, the group had this to say:
"Fans of Adam Lambert from around the world, have come together to show Adam and his management team that there is a significant demand for pay-per-view online live-casts of Adam's concerts, with the hope that they will consider providing this service.
"As much as we (nearly 700,000 of us) love his For Your Entertainment CD, Adam’s fans know that there is nothing comparable to seeing him live. Whenever possible, we do just that—selling out his concerts almost as fast as he can announce them.
"But what about the thousands of fans both in US and overseas who have no way to experience Adam live in concert?
"To date we will watch and/or listen to poor quality cell casts via sites like ustream and wait impatiently for shaky fan videos! Yes, we are that passionate and devoted. But there is a much better option.
"It seems that the demand for Adam's "entertainment" is such that 19/RCA could consider providing a Glam Nation live-cast online pay-per-view concert(s), so we decided to start this petition and respectfully ask that they consider this idea.
"Fans from countries around the world have already signed the petition ask and are actively spreading it among their fellow Adam Lambert fans via Twitter and fan forums. Our hope is that anyone who would pay for such an event will sign the petition ask today to demonstrate to 19/RCA that the market for professional-quality live-casts is real and significant."

I would pay to see that man on a cellcast or PPV anytime!! Unfortunately Adam hasn't announced Arizona yet and I'm getting impatient. Come on. We are the 7th largest city!

I know he's coming to St. Pete for a concert after a Ray's game, but it's not the same!!! At least put him in Orlando. Actually, just put him in Florida for a real concert and I'll drive there!

It would be impossible for ADAM to go to every city that wants his concert ... this would also be the answer (brilliant) for ADAM's 'shut-in' fans who will never be able to attend any of ADAM's concerts physically. I do hope this happens!!!
I signed and would be happy to pay for a reasonable quality livestream of Adam concert/s and for HQ concert DVD's and I want to go see him live when he comes to my area.
Live streams will NOT detract from people buying concert tickets. Or they could just stream concerts that are sold out! Don't leave money on the table 19E and give fans what they want. A win-win for all!
I would pay as well . This case I would require some quality (image and sound).
I wish he could come to Alabama, or Mississippi - there are no dates for concerts near me in Florence AL (near Huntsville) The closest one would be Knoxville TN - which sold out in one day. Please book more concerts in the south
I signed and contributed as soon as I saw the petition last week. Was hoping he would come to Memphis, TN but no such date yet. Like many other Adam fans, I spend hours each day looking for the latest Adam news and videos. Completely devoted to Adam Lambert like no other EVER!

I'm going to at least two live concerts, but that might be all the travel I can afford. I would DEFINITELY pay for a livecast in addition to this.
Also, I feel for those who might miss the chance to see him live (he's SO GOOD!)and with GN concerts selling out so quickly, many will miss out (not to mention international fans.)
As Adam says, it never hurts to ask for what you want--nicely!
Dorena, do you really think he'll go to Arizona?? Don't think so. I'm in Texas and going to travel big time to Kansas to see Adam. I'm not going to sign a petition because in most cases people can see who they want to see as long as they're willing to make a committment.
Even though concerts are officially sold out, you can still be tickets through the scalpers like stubhub. Also, if you join some of Adam's websites, there are folks selling tickets for what they paid. You just have to make an effort.
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL IDEA ! I SIGNED THE PETITION. I GET TO SEE ADAM IN CLEVELAND. THERE WERE NO SCHEDULED GLAM NATION CONCERTS HERE IN FLORIDA. ADAM WILL BE AT ST PETE, BUT THAT'S A BALL GAME VENUE, AND I'D NEED A HELICOPTER AND TELESCOPE TO SEE HIM ! I WATCH HIM ON LINE, IN ANY VIDEOS I FIND, BUT LIVE WILL BE FANTASTIC !!!!
I am really hoping that this works. Being an international fan this summer will be torture without something like a professional live cast. It is really hard to listen to all the recounts and see the videos knowing that you have no chance of experiencing it live - a live cast would be the next best thing to being there. Please make this happen.

I'm in Louisiana and hoping he'll come here but thinking the closest he may get is possibly Dallas. I'm signing and would most definitely pay to watch Adam on tour on TV, and will probably also be paying travel costs to see him wherever I can anywhere within 500-600 miles IF I'm lucky enough to get a ticket before his show sells out. I am going to see Adam in NC in JUly. I live in Florida. It's coasting me $500. I will pay so much more to see him and ,YES< I already got my tickets to see him Sep 18 after the Rays's game.
I will sign the pettition. I TOTALLY understand the FRUSTRATION of funs who can't see him. I rememeber staying up untill 4 AM on New Years Eve to see a very poor quility of his Gridlock show. It was WORTH IT!!!!
I'd rather see 'you tube' film school instructions to fans who want to record as they did last year. 1. Focus 2. Get close 3.Follow Adam, and 4. Don't make any sounds. All of those who get to see videos on youtube will thank you forever, although going to the concert is even better!
I signed the petition but I also bought tickets to the GlamNation tour. A group of us are coming from Japan as Adam is not planning to tour over here. We're meeting up at Costa Mesa with fans from Britain, Australia and New Zealand. It's gonna be great!

Adam said at the Kiss108 concert he will be coming to Texas. He said there are still dates and locations that have not been posted because they are still confirming. Love to see him on pay perview - but be patient because he is coming near you.
