'American Idol:' Adam Lambert dons new cap look in Australia (with photo link)

Don't expect this kind of hair from Adam Lambert this time.

Adam Lambert took some time out in Sydney this weekend to sign autographs for some adoring fans -- and the "American Idol" runner-up did with sporting an unexpected look. With his famous dark hair covered up by a beanie, Adam looks a bit more ready for a relaxing day. However, don't think that this slight change-up means that the trademark eye-liner and leather are gone. (To see some photos of the record signing, all you have to do is follow this link.)

Adam's publicity tour Down Under started up earlier this week as he continues to promote the new release of "For Your Entertainment" overseas. He has appeared to this point on television shows, radio broadcasts, and is now going for the more local approach in Sydney. Adam Tweeted out the following message to show his love: "I love Sydney! Beautiful weather and beautiful people!"

Have you been to any Adam Lambert events recently? If so, feel free to share any of your experiences below! I will of course have more on the singer soon along with any other "American Idol" news.
