The new Billboard 200 chart stats have been published, and while Katy Perry continues her reign atop the charts, Adam Lambert, the former American Idol finalist continues to see a steady presence on the Billboard 200 chart with his debut album, For Your Entertainment. It has been a good while since the singer was a contestant on the show that catapulted him to stardom. He has since then released three singles and three videos. Lambert has earned a seriously large fan base, not just in the United States, but internationally as well.
According to the Billboard 200 chart, Lambert's album is currently in the number 90 position. Well above the top 100 albums on the chart. All summer long the singer has been touring the states, with his summer Glam Nation tour. The fans as well as the critics have given the performer rave reviews. Lambert continues to show his appreciation to the fans, and they in turn show their loyalty and their support.

While I think Adam is doing fine in most places and have been to 5 of his concerts and will be attending two more, I am extremely perturbed with RCA/19 and the BBC and Radio1 in the UK for not playing or promoting him!
According to most his fans in the UK, the two main sources for airtime, are far more interested in promoting their OWN UK artists, like the dull pap that comes from their British reality show, X-Factor, than in actually promoting one of the greatest vocal talents of this century!
What if the American radio and TV had done the same, in 1964 to The Beatles?? Imagine a music world without their talent and influence! RCA/19 seriously need to get on the stick in the UK! Even the Brit fans he does have are hopping mad about the whole stinking situation! Someone in the music journalism business needs to investigate this, Pronto! Thanks, Queenrosered.
Adam's album has been out a year compared to others who are charting all over the world. He is doing very well in Europe, with the possible exception of the UK. Imagine they will soon get on board the Adam Lambert train as his fan base grows in the UK. Keep in mind the U.S. censored Elvis, and the Stones, but played the Beatles as they represented themselves as clean cut boys from Liverpool. We now know that wasn't exactly the truth. But the UK, like the US cannot ignore Adam Lambert--it can't be done!!!
