'American Idol:' Adam Lambert arrives in Japan

Adam Lambert is rounding out his recent publicity tour in the Land of the Rising Sun. According to a new Twitter post by the "American Idol" runner-up, he has arrived in the country and is ready for a good time:

"Greetings Tokyo! Let's do some shopping!:) looking forward to meeting my Japanese fans!!"

Adam's stop in Tokyo follows what has already been an extensive publicity tour that has seen the singer go everywhere from Australia to Singapore. He has appeared on a variety of TV programs, radio shows, and has even done some autograph signings for fans. His appearance in Japan will likely be similar to what Kris Allen recently did in Malaysia -- greet some fans, sign a few autographs here and there, and get the word out some more about his music.

Here in North America, Adam's next major announced concerts are in early April in British Columbia. It is also still possible that a tour across the United States will be announced at some point over the next few months.

Where do you think Adam Lambert should visit next? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more "American Idol" news.

because adam lambert is more appreciated overseas, i think he should concentrate more in promoting his music overseas. like he said, he was looking forward to perform in a more liberal environment (like australia). i cannot understand the attitude of some americans, they claimed their country as the leader of the world but they could not even look after their own citizen like adam, not recognizing a very rare talent that will bring some $$$ to help american economy! WAKE UP AMERICA! we will have adam anytime here in asia.

I hope Adam visits Toronto but think Adam's fans here should write to Hamilton, Ontario's mayor to request that he/she apologize to Adam for the incident at Copp's Collesium last summer. During his performance, an idiotic person threw a sex toy at him and actually hit him. He has since said it is the worst thing that ever happened to him on stage, and I think he deserves an apology at the very least. Hopefully then, Adam would come to Toronto to perform rather than focusing only on B.C. where he has scheduled two performances in April.

Why you minimize so Adam? In Australia it was presented as a big pop star and it was at SYTYCD Sidney, it was in Sidney and Melbourne , A few radio station , a tv program .In Singapore at at airport it was a lot of fans , he did a concert for 1500 people on Pantage Theatre Of Universal , signed autographs and cd for a lot of fans. In Japan the airport was fullof fans , where did you see some fans?
Adam did have his solo concert on Palm Spring Indio , sold out with 3500 people , in April has twoo concert in Canada , and till the concert he is coming in UK,Germany maybe Swede to promote his album . The album has allready 3 gold in three different country.
When he was asked about Kris he said that he is a talented singer , why did you start again the war between fans? Adam is a real and rare talent , a star that you and other like dont recognize , but a lott of countries wish have something like that. For you is still runner up ,but he is a star, stop to not to be bad.
