'American Idol' 2014 top 11 song spoilers released

"American Idol" 2014 resumes March 12 with the top 11 performance show, featuring the five girls and six guys still vying for the season 13 title as they sing songs from the movies. A March 12 post to the long-running reality singing competition's Tumblr page revealed the evening's set list just hours before the live broadcast, but stopped short of naming who would sing what tune.

The set list includes a selection of well-known songs recorded by popular artists ranging the era gamut from the legendary Beatles to recent sensation Idina Menzel, including:

  • "Skyfall" from "Skyfall"
  • "Decode" from "Twilight"
  • "Sound of Silence" from "The Graduate"
  • "To Make You Feel My Love" from "Hope Floats," which starred "AI" judge Harry Connick, Jr.
  • "Can't You See" from "Blow"
  • "Sweet Home Alabama" from "Sweet Home Alabama"
  • "Bennie and the Jets" from "27 Dresses"
  • "I'm Changing" from "Dreamgirls"
  • "Falling Slowly" from "Once"
  • "Let it Go" from the recent hit "Frozen"
  • "Come Together" from "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"

The contestants still in the hunt for the win include ladies M.K. Nobillette, Malaya Watson, Jena Irene Asciutto, Jessica Meuse, and Majesty Rose, and guys Sam Woolf, Alex Preston, C.J. Harris, Caleb Johnson, Dexter Roberts, and Ben Briley.

The movies-themed "American Idol" 2014 top 11 performance show begins live from Los Angeles at 8 p.m. Eastern time on March 12.
