'American Idol' 2014 spoilers: Next week 10 go home in new rush week

Next week is the start of the "American Idol" live shows. This week they told 31 contestants that they would be in the top 31. They are and of course they assume they will be on the live shows, but this is not what is going to happen. On Feb. 14, TV Line shared some spoilers for how "American Idol" will go down next week.

This will be the first time for rush week. They will take the 31 top contestants and send home 10 of them before they even get to sing. Five of the girls and five of the boys will be sent packing right away. Net week they will go right away before the public even gets to vote.

Then the following week, more of them will go home and it will be down to just 10 contestants. Each judge gets their chance to bring in one person as a wildcard and give them another chance. That means it will go down to the top 13 and fast.

Don't miss "American Idol" next week when it airs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.
