"American Idol 2014 is down to its final 10 contestants, all of whom will tour America this summer. That's a great accomplishment. However, the ultimate pleasure for each of these talented finalists would be to win this season of "AI." That said, on March 20, one person was voted off the hit Fox reality show.
So who lost his or her change to win the "American Idol" crown on Thursday after singing a song from among America's top ten hits on the Billboard charts during last night's performance?
That news wasn't shared until after Jennifer Lopez, featuring Pia Toscano, Jessica Sanchez, and Allison Iraheta, performed "I Luh Ya Papi" for the full house in Los Angeles.
As usual, the results show had Ryan Seacrest hosting with JLo, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban sitting at the judges' table.
With that in mind, who was actually booted off "AI" on March 20 from among the top 10 singers, including contestants Alex Preston, CJ Harris, Caleb Johnson, Dexter Roberts, Jena Irene, Jessica Meuse, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson, MK Nobilette and Sam Woolf?
Well, the three contestants who landed in the bottom three of this season's top 10 were Dexter Roberts, MK Nobilette and Majesty Rose.
Finally, the last contestant to sing for a chance at a save was MK Nobilette.
At the end of her final song, "All of Me," MK was told her long run on "American Idol" had ended on March 20. While a loss for this impressive crooner is hard to take, she can at least look forward to the summer "AI" tour with her new best friends all out on the road with her.
